How TSCA handles your information.

Who we are

The Sports Card Addict (“TSCA”) runs the website thesportscardaddict.com. You can reach us any time through our contact page.

Information you give us

• Email sign-up: when you join the email list, we collect your email address, your first name if you provide it, and whether you asked us to tell you when the community forum opens.
• Contact form: when you send a message, we collect your name, email address, and message.

Form submissions are stored in our website’s database and sent to our email inbox so we can respond. We use this information only to reply to you and, if you signed up, to send TSCA emails.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and website software may log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working. We use caching software to make pages load faster.

Cookies

We use a cookie consent tool so you can choose which optional cookies to allow. Essential cookies keep the site working. You can change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie button on the site. Right now the site only uses essential cookies; we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our cookie banner is provided by Elementor (“Cookie Consent by Elementor”).

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help run the site, such as our web host, and only as needed to operate it, or when required by law.

Services we use

• Hosting: our website is hosted by Hostinger, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
• Email: messages and sign-up notifications from our forms are delivered to our email inbox, which is hosted by Hostinger.
• Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which can see your IP address.
• Cookie consent: our cookie banner is provided by Elementor.

Your choices

• You can unsubscribe from TSCA emails at any time by replying to an email or contacting us.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you’ve sent us by using the contact page.

Children

TSCA is a family-friendly hobby site, but our email list and contact form are intended for adults. Parents are welcome to contact us on behalf of a child.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
